Job Description
This position is a full-time hourly role that focuses on collecting market research through surveying Guests on a variety of topics across all of Walt Disney World property. Cast Members are expected to maintain high quality surveys while still completing assigned work. Cast Member must be comfortable approaching guests and handling rejection. Job requires carrying equipment and continuous walking and long periods of standing. The information obtained is highly confidential and assists leaders throughout the Walt Disney Company in their decision–making processes.


The Research Specialist I will serve as a voice of our Guests and Cast. Through quality data collection and observation, we will provide unbiased information to our clients that will enable our company to make continuous improvements.


Responsibilities:


  • Capability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Professional demeanor
  • Transporting equipment, as well as a high degree of mobility and prolonged periods of remaining stationery
  • Comfortable with remaining stationary for extended periods of time and regularly moving between multiple locations
  • Capable of working in a quota driven environment
  • Strong grasp of the English language


Basic Qualifications:


  • Demonstrated time management skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Excellent verbal communication and PC skills
  • Follows on-screen computer directions
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to record information quickly and accurately
  • Self-motivated and reliable


Preferred Qualifications:


  • In-depth knowledge of WDW property
  • Knowledgeable in MS Office
  • Minimum one-year experience in market research or related industry


Required Education:


  • High school degree or equivalent
