Accenture Federal Services is seeking a Research Scientist to investigate, analyze and review Artificial Intelligence (AI). Perform research, development, and realize solutions to support the exploitation of the extraordinary volume and variety of Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) communications and cybersecurity.

Responsibilities include:

• Analyzes data and creates research prototypes
• Performs research, design, development, and implementation activities for technically complex AI efforts under the routine direction of more senior technical staff
• Researches and develops technically complex AI efforts
• Resolves complex AI technical problems by applying advanced principles and Research and Development (R&D) techniques

Here's what you need:

Must have one of the following:

• Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or other Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM field) and 4 years of relevant experience
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or other Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM field) and 6 years of relevant experience
• PhD in Engineering, Computer Science or other Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM field)

Bonus points if you have:

• Experience with R, Java, or other programming languages
• Research experience in Machine Learning specific to Natural Language Processing, Computer Vision, or deep learning
• Experience with managing data and creating algorithms using AWS

Security Clearance:

• An active TS/SCI with polygraph clearance is required to start

Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York City or Washington as set forth below and information on benefits offered is here.   

Role Location: Range of Starting Pay for role 

California: $90,700 - $168,400

Colorado: $90,700 - $145,500

New York City: $105,000 - $168,400

Washington: $96,600 - $154,900
