Job Description

Responsibilities

Join a highly engaged and collaborative Yakima-based team with a passion for child health research. This work directly contributes to NIH's Environmental Influences on Child Health Outcomes (ECHO) Program. For this study, we will be conducting observational study visits with healthy children ages 5 - 11. This position will assist with research-related procedures and clinical assessments (i. e. blood draw, anthropometrics, blood pressure, biospecimen collection, spirometry). The ideal candidate for this role will be engaging with children and families, bring pediatric phlebotomy skills, and the ability to work independently, as well as part of a team. As part of a world class research institution with opportunities for growth and development, this position will have a somewhat flexible schedule, a hybrid work environment, and a positive and supportive team.

Requirements

Required Education/Experience: - BS in Nursing.- Minimum of three (3) years nursing experience, to include a combination of the following: - At least one (1) year of cardiology or neurology nursing experience. - Pediatric experience. - Research experience. Required Credentials: - Current Washington State licensure to practice nursing. - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers is required for all positions. Pediatric Emergency Assessment, Recognition and Stabilization (PEARS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) will be accepted in lieu of BLS for Healthcare Providers.Preferred: - Master's degree in Nursing.- At least five (5) years' research experience.- Prior experience in assigned clinical research specialty area.- Completion of the Ethics Course recognized by Seattle Children's IRB.

$47.48 - $71.23 /hr

Min to Max Annual Salary

$98,758.40 - $148,158.40 /yr

Salary Information

This compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity, skills, experience, and expertise, and may vary within the range provided.

Seattle Children's offers annual incentive pay based upon performance that is commensurate with the level of the position.
