Job Description

Position Summary:The Research Manager will play a crucial role in supporting the Vice President of Research at the Nashville Convention and Visitors Corp (NCVC). This role will involve managing research projects, analyzing data, and providing strategic insights to guide decision-making and enhance the effectiveness of marketing and sales efforts. The role provides a dynamic work environment, exposure to cross-functional teams, and the chance to make a significant impact on the organization's growth and development.

  • Knowledge of the leisure and hospitality industry, including market dynamics and trends, is desirable.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data collection, analysis, and reporting.
  • All other duties as assigned
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in research software, statistical analysis tools, and data visualization platforms.
  • Proficiency in research methodologies, data analysis, and statistical techniques. Maintain internal research files and dashboards.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present research findings in a compelling and easily understandable manner.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to derive actionable insights from complex data sets on Nashville hotel performance and the organization’s CRM.

Qualifications:

  • Skills- Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Experience- 2 years of related experience including database management and market analysis. Experience in the leisure and hospitality industry is a plus.
  • Education- Bachelors degree in Business, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Marketing, or a related field
