Legend Biotech is seeking Research Intern, Translational Science as part of the Early Stage Drug Development team based in Piscataway, NJ.

Role Overview

Early-stage Drug Development department is seeking an intern to join the translational research team. The intern will be responsible for reading conference abstracts, extracting key information of interest to Legend and inputting into a database. He/she will be involved and contribute to the data analysis and interpretation. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is detail-oriented and interested in gaining comprehensive understanding of the fast-moving CAR-T field, including CAR-T design, manufacturing, clinical efficacy and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in database analysis and interpretation.
• Input the content into a database and ensure records are accurate and complete.
• Extract the key components of interest from these abstracts.
• Read abstracts of conference presentations and scientific publication of CAR-T clinical trials.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program, preferably in Science/Biology field.
• Strong reading comprehension skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to understand and interpret the data.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with data entry best practices and principles.
