Research Development Analyst (Remote or Hybrid)

Office of Sponsored Programs - Pennsylvania-Pittsburgh - (23003619)
Works with the research enterprise to locate funding opportunities compatible with the University’s research strengths and strategic research objectives. Establishes processes and procedures for effective funding opportunities and provides analyses of funding communications. Identifies submission funding and award opportunities, coordinates applications and reviews, strategizes outreach initiatives, and ensures compliance with all funding solicitation and sponsor requirements. Manages research information systems and prepares productivity reports. Promotes research-related services and develops a current funding and limited submission opportunities website.
The Office of Sponsored Programs Research Development Team is seeking a Research Development Analyst. The Research Development Analyst is expected to liaise with the research enterprise to locate funding opportunities compatible with the University’s research strengths and strategic research objectives. Establish processes and procedures for circulating funding opportunities and develop and provide data-driven analyses of funding information communications. Develop and maintain a website with current funding and limited submission opportunities. Find limited submission funding and award opportunities, prepare announcements, distribute announcements, and coordinate applications and reviews. Find and follow published funding trends and funding sources. Identify enhanced research services.
