Description:

We are seeking excellent scientists and Research Associates with molecular biology, general wet lab, or imaging experience. As part of our team, you will conduct cutting edge experiments to map spatial gene expression. You will work with advanced technologies to support research projects and optimize or develop new methodologies. The successful candidate will have demonstrated wet lab expertise and be enthusiastic to work as part of a team in a fast-paced startup environment.

Responsibilities:

• Work with complex lab instrumentation
• Prepare assay reagents and other components
• Document protocols and share findings
• Analyze research data and assist with data interpretation
• Assist with research projects to profile spatial genomics
• Develop and improve assay protocols
• Other duties as assigned
• Collaborate with other team members on research studies

Qualifications:

• Good communication and collaboration skills
• BS or MS degree in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Bioengineering, or a related field
• At least one year of experience working with standard molecular biology techniques in a laboratory environment
• Experience with standard molecular biology techniques such as PCR, nucleic acid purification, gel electrophoresis, next generation DNA and RNA sequencing, microscopy
• Highly motivated with excellent attention to detail
• Prior industry experience a plus
• Knowledge of fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH) or other in situ staining technologies
