Position Summary
Assists with the day-to-day administrative project management and may provide scientific direction for research projects of considerable scope and complexity.
Position Key Accountabilities

• As needed, may coordinate the work of assistants to ensure efficient, timely and high quality results.
• Stays abreast of new and updated protocols for research department.
• Assists in the preparation of progress reports and grant proposals to both private foundations and governmental agencies.
• Complies with all governmental and University policies, rules, regulations, and codes.
• Under close supervision, conducts research activities according to research protocol. Research activities may include some or all of the following: participant recruiting and screening, screening and training.
• Orders supplies as directed by senior research staff.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Attends research-planning meetings, supports research project desired outcomes, budgets, and timeliness.
• Maintains confidential records of collected data, ensures accuracy and integrity of data.
• Occasional travel to support dissemination and promotion of products, papers and presentations, including assisting with development of materials, organizing virtual and in-person events and presenting at local, regional and national fora.
• Assists with the day-to-day project management and administrative work for research projects.
• Assists with preparation of draft reports, literature reviews, manuscripts, communications, assessments, and trainings.
• Conduct site visits for studies. Position may involve some travel, including some overnight trips, for site visits, evaluation activities, data collection, and project coordination.
• Collects, evaluates, and interprets research data to provide needed information to principal investigators and other researchers. Updates records, and databases as needed.

Certification/Skills
General knowledge of research fields.
Minimum Education
Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience in lieu of education.
Minimum Experience
No years of experience.
Physical Requirements
Exerts up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 10 pounds constantly and/or a negligible amount constantly to move objects.
This position may include work involving potentially hazardous chemical, biological or radioactive agents.
