The Computer Science Department in the School of Computer Science is searching for a Research Assistant to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in an interesting and challenging work environment. You will contribute to the department by providing working with the project PI to collect, record and assess research data. In addition, you may write and test code according to project specifications, assess data and analyze results.
Your core responsibilities will include:
  • Performs basic data analysis in order to product reports. Documents results and processes.
  • May test software prototypes. May interact with research subjects in order to perform job functions.
  • Performs library research and field explorations.
  • Follows research plans in order to collect, record, and manipulate research data. Maintains accurate and detailed research records and files.

Qualifications:
  • Experience with research protocols.
  • A combination of education and relevant experience from which comparable knowledge is demonstrated may be considered.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
