Hull & Company seeks a professional lines Renewal Underwriter for its team.
This can be a remote from home opportunity for the right candidate.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:
  • Discuss coverage & forms with retail customers.
  • Always conduct the highest level of confidentiality.
  • Assist with joint marketing trips with senior underwriters.
  • Ensure compliance with government agencies and corporate policies and procedures.
  • Foster and seek relationships with teammates across all levels of Hull & Company and Brown & Brown.
  • Other duties as needed.
  • Assist the sales process on new & renewal business.
  • Attend training sessions, courses, etc. to maintain up to date skills.
  • Assist with commercial lines renewal underwriting.
  • Negotiate rates and terms with carriers.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
  • Bachelor’s Degree with Emphasis in Business or Risk Management Preferred
  • Must be detail-oriented and possess the ability to balance multiple tasks/objectives.
  • Professional Liability Insurance experience preferred.
  • Ability to work well with others in a production team environment.
  • Strong critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent communicator and relationship driven professional.
  • Experience working in a paperless environment preferred – strong PC skills required.
  • Committed to excellent customer service.
