A little about the position:
A Work from Home Vacation Specialist informs our guests about Mammoth Resorts and helps to plan and book all their vacation needs including lodging, and all winter and summer activities. Specialists are driven by customer service demonstrating active listening, engaging with our guests, and offering meaningful solutions in a fast paced and dynamic guest service environment.
Specialists will work with our guests primarily through inbound phone calls, with the potential to handle emails and webchats. In this role, you will identify the guests’ needs, proactively offer products, effectively communicate policies, and provide assistance with changes, cancellations, taking payments and any other service-based needs.

A typical week is four, 10-hour days with 3 days off. We can offer a five, 8-hour day work week with 2 days off upon request.
There are three separate training sessions starting mid-August through mid-October, so apply now to secure your preferred start date. Training will be 6 weeks in duration.

To be eligible for a Work At Home position the candidate must meet the following requirements:

• Must have a designated workspace that is separate, secure, and quiet.
• Must have designated internet with a minimum speed of 400mpbs.
• Must reside in California.
• Previous Work At Home/Remote work experience preferred.
• Must connect to the internet/modem via an ethernet cord

Job Requirements:
High school graduation or equivalency is required. Previous sales and/or reservation experience with an ability to handle a high volume of calls is preferred. Knowledge of the Mammoth Lakes area is preferred.
As a prerequisite, candidates must have a strong command of the English language with emphasis on proper grammar and pronunciation, specifically while using the telephone.
Proficiency in using computers both for data entry, as well as for more advanced computer navigation; and familiarity with using multiple different programs at one time.
A passion for providing excellent customer service, with a high level of empathy and patience.
Experience with Microsoft Word and other Windows-based programs and familiarity with web-browsing software are helpful.
Hourly Pay Rate: $21.58
