Job Description

Then this position offers you exactly the right challenges as you support to improve TEs Environment Health Safety and Sustainability Efforts.

We are looking for a virtually based Senior Manager, Environment Health Safety & Sustainability leader for the Industrial Business Unit residing in the Industrial Solutions segment who combines professional experience in a comparable role with the affinity to work in a fast-changing environment. This position will provide for a great deal of autonomy on projects and strategies that occur simultaneously and with high priority.

Responsibilities

  • You will evolve and recommend initiatives for achieving corporate goals for EHS & Sustainability, GHG reduction, including progress toward Net Zero goals or Science Based Targets (SBTs).
  • You develop EHS & Sustainability strategies including their presentation on executive level, as well as performing the analysis and performance benchmarking to support TEs organizational goal setting and implementation.
  • You will participate in the development and execution of the EHS & Sustainability strategy to assure the organization is recognized as a market leader now and into the future.
  • You create prioritize and drive strategies aimed at the reduction of Green House Gas Emissions, water usage and waste generation across the Business Unit.
  • The position will be responsible for assuring the appropriate level of EHS & Sustainability Talent resides within the Business Unit to assure effective support of the organizations goals and objectives.
  • You will be responsible to lead multi-disciplinary EHS & Sustainability projects in a collaborative and effective manner involving project plan creation, delegation of tasks to colleagues and working with other teams within TE to help coordinate service and solutions delivery.
  • You will be responsible for creatly and driving a global EHS & Sustainability Strategy and supporting those actions within a defined global business unit.
  • The individual will make decisions and prioritize actions based on sound data analysis, emission factor development, calculation methodology and web-system deployment to drive digitization within EHS.

About you

  • You are we well-organized, analytical self-starter with a strong attention to detail
  • You have experience with footprint activities
  • You hold a Bachelor´s or Master´s Degree in Sustainability or Environmental Sciences, Energy, Economics, Engineering, or a related technical field
  • Due to the high responsibility of the role, some years of experience with similar tasks, are required - ideally gained in a consultancy or company environment
  • You have excellent communication and presentation skills to explain complex analysis in a concise manner and to convince others without authority (fluent English is a must; advanced Spanish is advantageous)
  • Your project management knowledge, combined with problem-solving skills, helps you to “survive” and to satisfy the customer
