Remote Dispatcher And Scheduling Part Time

M. J. Transportation, Inc. is a non-emergency medical transportation company serving Franklin, Hampshire and Worcester Counties providing clients a ride to their medical appointments in standard mini-vans and passenger cars.

The Dispatch and Scheduling job is a remote work from home position using a computer and cell phone, ideally located in one of the counties that we operate in. The tasks include supporting the drivers, clients and our customers with ensuring our drivers arrive on time for scheduled client rides and all operational systems are reconciled to represent accurate trip log reporting. The position requires customer service skills and technical skills including the use of dispatch software. Strong Microsoft Excel skills are essential to the role. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude and the ability to work and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.

The position offers a minimum of 4 categories of work activities including Dispatching, Vehicle Maintenance Coordination, Scheduling and Driver Hiring Support. As the company grows, additional responsibilities may also be added for those dispatchers that demonstrate their competency and skills in a manner that builds the trust and confidence of the entire MJT staff. Each activity will be trained through online training courses along with real time on the job training.

The hours are daytime between 6am and 6pm, with the schedule based on the days that a Dispatched is assigned to work. Total hours are up to 30 hours per week, some weekends are required. Pay based on experience level.
