Registration Clerk Jobs

Optim Medical Center - Tattnall is seeking a full time Registration Clerk for our Reidsville location.

Job Requirements:

• Scans photo IDs, insurance cards, consent forms, and other documentation as necessary.
• Maintains strictest confidentiality.
• Distributes applicable information to ancillary departments based on services rendered.
• Works evening, nights and weekends as required.
• Arranges for the efficient and orderly registration of any and all patients who present for service.
• Obtains signatures on any consents as required.
• Verifies insurance coverage and benefits.
• Informs patients of hospital policies and procedures as necessary.
• Collects copays, unmet deductibles and coinsurances as applicable.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.
• Obtains insurance information.
• Answers switchboard as necessary.
• Obtains correct patient demographic information.
