Reporting to the Director of Regulatory, Claims & Safety, the Registration and Documentation Specialist is responsible to collect, exchange, and maintain up-to-date regulatory & quality information related to our products and procedures that are essential to our operations at Debut. This role will also interact with all responsible stakeholders to manage documentation and communication regarding these work outputs.


Essential Functions


  • Lead document control requirements for the Regulatory & Quality Teams.
  • Assist with the development and preparation of raw material and finished product registration submissions for the US, Canada, UK, EU and other jurisdictions.
  • Support cross-functional teams (Regulatory, Safety, Quality, Formulations, Brands, etc.) with process and/or documentation needs as required.
  • Maintain registration, regulatory & quality data on ingredients, raw materials and finished products appropriately.
  • Development and maintenance of excel-based tools to assist in daily work.
  • Responsible for raw material code creation and review of new RM quality equivalencies.
  • Assist with keeping current on global regulatory trends.


Education And Experience


  • Advanced excel skills with ability to develop and maintain macro tools.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and record keeping skills.
  • Enthusiastic team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Biology, or other related discipline.
  • 3+ years of experience in registration in cosmetic industry; international registration experience highly desired.
  • Working knowledge of industry regulations.
  • Experience in quality control environment a plus.

  • Continuous upward and downward flexion of the neck.
  • The performance of this position will present exposure to an industrial environment and requires support and compliance with the published Company PPE policy including but not limited to the use of personal protective equipment as needed.
  • Occasional walking, standing, bending and twisting of neck, bending and twisting of waist, squatting, simple grasping, reaching above and below shoulder level, and lifting and carrying of files weighing up to 15 pounds.
  • Frequent sitting, repetitive use of hands to operate computers, printers and copiers.
