Job Description
Endicott College is seeking a Registrar with strong leadership, technical,


and interpersonal skills.


The Registrar will create and maintain collaborative working relationships with institutional leadership, faculty, and staff. They will support college programs and policies as established by deferral, state, administrative, and academic entities. The Registrar will be responsible for the maintenance and integrity of the academic record and must be proficient with Cognos or similar reporting tools.

Responsibilities of the Registrar:


Supervision and Oversight of Office Staff


  • Responsible for staff supervision and performance appraisals.
  • Oversees all operations in the registration process; creation of the student record, course schedules, final exam schedules, grading, issuance of transcripts, enrollment verification, and registration
  • Supervises an office staff of 7


Manages Daily Operations of the Registrar’s Office


  • Oversees the enrollment and degree reporting to the National Student Clearinghouse
  • Oversees the certification of student records for graduation and issuing of diplomas
  • Oversees the development of the College Catalog; Undergraduate, Graduate and Doctoral
  • Responsible for the development of the Academic Calendar; Undergraduate, Graduate, and Non-Standard terms
  • Responsible for start and end of the semester system settings and routines; configuration of calendar tables, classification updates, assignment of student registration groups, development of dean’s list, classification updates, and No Shows
  • Responsible for the development and issuing all reports for Academic Review
  • Responsible for the development and issuing all reports for commencement planning, communications, and commencement day.
  • Responsible for developing, evaluating, interpreting, and enforcing departmental and college procedures.
  • Responsible for co-managing departmental budget with Registrar and Provost
  • Oversees all operations in the transfer credit process; evaluation of transcripts and posting of credit


Governance Committees


  • Serves on various college committees; Academic Policy, calendar (Chair), commencement, compliance, Curriculum (Graduate and Undergraduate) and Dean’s Council
  • Faculty Assembly; voting member
  • Serves on the NECCUM Registrar’s committee


Qualifications:


  • Excellent technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Successful supervisory experience in a people-oriented environment
  • Experience managing complex records systems in a registrar’s office; Workday and Jenzabar CX preferred
  • Experience with data reporting tools and data mining; COGNOS preferred
