Description Performs various complex clerical duties and statistical record-keeping duties relating to the enrollment, graduation or withdrawal of middle and high school students according to established policies and procedures; evaluates, processes, maintains and records course work and credits, student grades, grade point averages and test scores.   • Toll Middle School. Position includes full benefits (medical, dental, vision, and life insurance). Maximum health and welfare employer contribution is $34,113.00 annually. The resulting eligibility list will also be used to fill future vacancies during the validity period.   • Reviews senior records and prepare deficiency lists; receives and monitors senior failure notices; obtains finals information for teachers regarding graduation status; advises administrators and counselors of non-graduates, senior failure and unsatisfactory reports.
  • Prepares transcripts as requested by other schools; forwards academic, health and other records as appropriate; prepares notice of indebtedness and clears unpaid financial obligations as appropriate; collect transcript fees as appropriate.
  • Compiles a list of potential graduates and submits to appropriate District administrators; orders and proofreads diplomas.

  • Reviews incoming transcripts for grade and course deficiencies. Reviews incoming records to assure that course work completed meets State requirements for graduation and confers with counselors regarding deficiencies and credit problems.

Employment Standards Minimum Requirements: Three years of recent, increasingly complex clerical work performing duties related to transcripts, records, enrollment, registration, legal documents, and/or contracts; preferably in a school district or other public agency setting. Desirable: Written and oral proficiency in a second language. LICENSE OR CERTIFICATE Possession of a valid State of California Class C driver's license.   • Evaluates and posts credits and grades earned in summer school, off campus courses, and other authorized programs.
  • Prepares permanent records for incoming students; requests records from out-of-district schools and records grades on permanent records; analyzes foreign, domestic and out-of-district transcripts.
  • Communicates with counselors, administrators, teachers, parents, and students; schedules conferences and appointments and provides information concerning student enrollment, schedules, withdrawal, testing, and other related activities.
