Registered Nurse - Virtual Care

Required: Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing and a bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN). Current registered nurse licensure in the State of Ohio. 3 years professional RN clinical experience. Current AHA Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider certification or obtains within 90 days of hire. A thorough knowledge of nursing theory and practice, including basic knowledge relating to nursing such as biological, physical, psychosocial, and medical sciences and their applications. Demonstrated interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients, coworkers, and other Medical staff in a virtual care setting. Broad-based knowledge and clinical expertise in assessing, analyzing, intervening, and evaluating patient care. Ability to take clinical on-call time. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and function within an ever-changing environment. Ability to concentrate for long periods of time, work well under stress, and be able to think and react quickly in emergencies. Ability to coordinate and implement services for multiple patients with a variety of ages and diagnoses. Ability to interact effectively with a wide range of cultural, ethnic, racial, and socioeconomic backgrounds. Preferred: Previous telemedicine, Critical Care, or telemetry experience. 1 year of Home Health care experience Physical Demands: May sit, stand, stoop, bend, and ambulate intermittently during the day. May need to sit or stand for extended periods. See in the normal visual range with or without correction. Hear in the normal audio range with or without correction. Finger dexterity to operate office equipment required. Ability to communicate and connect with patients using virtual tools, telephonic and video face-to-face, email, and other communications. Ability to see computer monitor and departmental documents.
