This Assignment will float between our Avondale Campus, 1665 North Avondale Boulevard, Avondale, AZ and the Main Campus at 1919 East Thomas Road, Phoenix, AZ (the two locations are approximately 20 miles apart). Job Summary:The Clinical Supervisor coordinates shift operational flow in conjunction with organizational and departmental strategic goals, objectives, and standards and is the hospital s clinical representative/resource for patients, families, and the healthcare team, at both the unit and organization levels. This position provides clinical leadership of patient care services and directs supervision of nursing and support staff to ensure consistent provision of developmentally appropriate quality patient care in accordance with all applicable federal, regulatory, professional standards and requirements. Provides clinical leadership with accountability in promoting quality patient care and an engaging work environment, during assigned shift. Education RequirementsAssociate's degree in nursing or bachelor's degree in nursing.Bachelor's or higher in healthcare related field preferred. Experience RequirementsMinimum two years nursing experience with demonstrated competence in an emergency department nursing role.One year supervisory or lead experience.One year experience with pediatric patient populations in an emergency department.Travel experience at a children s hospital strongly preferred.Certification/License/Registry Requirements Current Arizona RN license or RN Compact license with multistate privileges.Current BLS provider from the American Heart Association.Current PALS or provider from the American Heart Association.Current NRP provider from the American Heart Association.Current and valid nursing certification in clinical nursing expertise required or must be able to obtain within one year of starting.
