Registered Nurse - Rn

myRNStaffing Solutions is assisting our client to fill a 13-week travel assignment. Guaranteed Hours Per Week: 36. Shift Requirements: 12 hour pm/nights shift. 3p-330a and 7p-730a. Nurse to patient ratio: day/pm 1:4 or 5, nights 1:6 or 7. Fast paced post-surgical unit that averages 10-15 admissions per day with the highest occurring on Day/PM. Occupancy of unit is 90-95%% during the week with average length of stay 2 - 3 days (except joints). RN must have ability to multi task and prioritize patient care needs based on acuity and work as a team. Responsibilities Of The PSCU Registered Nurse

Work collaboratively with other members of the healthcare team to maintain standards for professional practice.

Carries out functions according to medical center policy, mission, and standards of practice as defined by professional and regulatory guidelines.

Responds quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.

Float Requirements: To all inpatient units; would be given appropriate patient assignments.

Requirements Of PSCU Registered Nurse

Minimum Experience: 2+ years Med Surg experience. Must have recent hospital experience.

Trauma Level II Experience Required.

Equipment used: Epic EMR, Rovers for medication scanning, Alaris pumps

Charting Experience: Epic strongly preferred. If no Epic experience, must have previous electronic charting experience.

Wisconsin State or Compact license required, BLS.

Salary: $54 - $59 per hour based on experience, benefit level and traveler status.*
