We are looking for a Registered Nurse to join our team in a correctional setting. The ideal candidate will have experience in a correctional setting and be knowledgeable about the needs of the population. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing medical care and administering medications to inmates, as well as performing other duties as assigned. The Registered Nurse will also need to have excellent communication skills and the ability to remain calm in difficult situations.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure that all medical equipment is in working order.
• Provide emergency medical care as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of inmate medical care.
• Assist in the development of medical protocols and procedures.
• Conduct physical examinations for new inmates.
• Administer medications and treatments to inmates as prescribed by a physician.
• Monitor and assess the health of inmates.
• Provide health education to inmates and staff.

Job Types: Contract, PRN, Travel nursing

Pay: $50.00 per hour
