The Position
The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for the management of weld sales activity for designated geographic market.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Handle key account responsibilities.
  • Display or demonstrate products using samples or catalogs and emphasizes salable features.
  • Utilizes sales metrics to evaluate performance of the individuals in assigned region.
  • Submit annual forecast as required for assigned products.
  • Participate in trade shows and association meetings as warranted.
  • Prepare and submit forecast updates as required.
  • Designs and recommends sales programs and sets short and long term sales strategies along with maintaining suitable pricing based on market competition and profit goals.
  • Manage and directs the weld sales force (DSM’s) in assigned region.
  • Establish and achieve annual sales forecasts and monitor the monthly results for each DSM in assigned region.
  • Assist with resolving quality problems and follow up on all customer service complaints.
Job Requirements
  • This position will require working varied hours.
  • Must be detailed oriented with solid verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must have knowledge of Microsoft Office Products. Experience in Salesforce is desired.
  • Bachelor’s degree from accredited university program in related field. At least four years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively to include presenting and public speaking.
  • This position will require extensive travel throughout assigned region.
  • Must be able to work independently and drive results.
