Candidates must be
based out of one of these states (TN, OH, IN, IL, or surrounding area) area and will oversee multiple states.

The Regional Director will be responsible for marketing, enrollment, and high-level management for existing and new academy launches for Lionheart Children’s Academy (LCA). As a committed follower of Christ, this leader will be passionate about the vision and mission of LCA and will combine this passion with skill to lead existing academies and new launches to excellence in our mission, staff engagement, operations and community impact.
This full-time position will report to the Executive Vice President of Operations and will work in concert with key Heart Hub leaders to market existing and new launches, build enrollment, and ensure the future success of the academies by implementing processes, programs, and culture of the highest caliber.

Compensation: $80,000 - 100,000 (based on education and experience)
Bonus Structure: Based on metrics
Ministerial Housing Allowance eligible position
Job Classification: Full-time Employee, Exempt
Location: Travel is required for this position. Travel to different states and to multiple academies in the Midwest area up to 75% of the time.

Primary Responsibilities:
Key responsibilities for this role include operations, enrollment, and marketing. Specific tasks include:


Operations

  • This position will manage multiple academy sites and new launches. This position will be instrumental in building brand and “bench” strength for the continued growth of Lionheart. A strong operational foundation in existing academies is crucial to staying on mission and a new academy’s first year is critical; thus, this position will focus keenly on excellence in operations, people management, and building a successful relationship with the partnering churches.

People Management

  • Manage academy leaders while displaying an entrepreneurial "hands on" leadership approach.
  • Train and develop directors to ensure high quality leadership and employee satisfaction.
  • Oversee the interview process and schedule the new employee orientation/training for all levels in new launches.
  • Collaborate with the talent management department to hire director level leaders for new launches and open director positions.
  • Lead academy leaders with a resilient commitment to creating and maintaining a workplace culture that reflects the LCA mission, vision, and culture.
  • Promote and support good working relationships for new academy leaders with other existing academy leaders for resourcing, encouragement, and best practice reinforcement.
  • Communicate clearly, fairly, honestly - treating all employees with dignity and respect concerning performance expectations, productivity and accountability; ensure directors model this same behavior with their team.

Church Relations

  • Facilitate communication between church and LCA
  • Build a solid relationship with key church leaders, representing LCA in its relationship with the church as well as within the community the church reaches.
  • Ensure church satisfaction.

Marketing & Enrollment

  • Researching the local market for highest visibility.
  • Developing relationships at local schools and churches and looking for ways to promote LCA to target students; promoting LCA at associated activities.
  • Determining and developing relationships with other community partners, groups and families (i.e.: youth sports events, playgrounds, etc.).
  • Assist the marketing department in use of social media marketing strategy, including implementation, and maintenance as needed.
  • Driver on-the- ground marketing strategy for new launches which will likely include activities such as:
  • Proposing and supporting high-level marketing initiatives, activities, and campaigns (community, web/social media, e-mail, direct mail, direct sales using collateral, etc.) and the execution points of each. Expound upon and improve results by developing, driving, and maintaining tactics, initiatives and programs.
  • Promoting LCA at local businesses (especially pediatricians, dentist offices, hair salons, places where young moms or children frequent).
  • Supporting Academy Directors with grassroots marketing efforts. Helping them create marketing plans and following up after events to determine if it was beneficial.
  • Representing LCA at Chamber of Commerce and other key networking groups and community events.

Background, Experience and Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Development/Child Development or related field or Business/Marketing Degree preferred with experience as noted below.
  • Must be Director Certified.
  • CPR/First Aid Certified.
  • At least 3 years of leadership experience in the Early Education and Care industry.
