Refrigeration Coordinator 2, Facilities Refrig

In Facility Services, the Refrigeration Coordinator oversees projects to execute the refrigeration program for approximately thirty Publix stores. This includes the installation, service and maintenance of the refrigeration, HVAC, and energy management systems for these retail locations. The Refrigeration Coordinator reports to the Divisional Refrigeration Supervisor.

Additional responsibilities include:

• Coordinating HVAC evaluations and refrigeration system replacement program
• Coordinating the execution of the case refurbish program, which is part of the remodel process that upgrades refrigerated cases and replaces worn or bad parts to bring refrigerated cases to a like new condition instead of replacing with new cases
• Evaluating the service contractors for meeting the defined expectations of the service agreement
• Coordinating and executing refrigeration program projects
• Coordinating refrigeration installations for retail locations (new stores and remodels)
• Coordinating and executing the energy management system (EMS) in retail locations

Required Qualifications:

• 5 years of supermarket or rack refrigeration and energy management system field experience in repair and maintenance of systems
• Associate’s degree in a construction-related course of study or certificate of completion from Supermarket Refrigeration trade school or equivalent experience
