Purpose :


The Recruiter is responsible for driving all facets of recruiting success throughout the Hospice Program. The Recruiter plays a critical role in ensuring we are hiring the best possible talent. This will be achieved through the development of recruiting plans, employing traditional sourcing strategies and resources as well as developing new, creative recruiting ideas.


: :


  • Arranges management interviews by coordinating schedules.
  • Attend and schedule community job fairs as needed.
  • Determines applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants; analyzing responses; verifying references; comparing qualifications to job requirements.
  • Determines applicant requirements by understanding job descriptions and job qualifications.
  • Establishes open positions by meeting with managers to discuss their recruitment needs.
  • Builds applicant sources by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, media, and internet sites.
  • Evaluates applicants by discussing job requirements and applicant qualifications with managers; interviewing applicants on a consistent set of qualifications.


Qualifications :


  • Familiar with the legal aspects of hiring and interviewing
  • Computer literate in the current version of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Strong Customer Service experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred or have at least 1-3 years Recruiting experience
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills
  • Able to handle multiple tasks
