Job Description
Job Desc:


We have an outstanding contract position for a Records Assistant to join a leading Company located in the Laurel, MD surrounding area.


This assignment is initially slated for 4 weeks.


Duties:


  • Index files and input data into a spreadsheet
  • Maintain confidentiality of information
  • Review files and spreadsheets for completeness and accuracy
  • Remove folders from existing file cabinets, pack folders in new boxes, and label boxes, as needed


Required Qualifications:


  • Ability to lift boxes of paper files weighing up to 25 pounds
  • Willingness to work independently and collaboratively as appropriate
  • A High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong personal computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Excel
  • Attention to detail


Desired Qualifications:


  • Two or more years of experience in office administration
  • Bachelors degree
  • Experience filing, indexing, and providing access to physical records
