Job Description

National Airlines, based in Orlando, FL, operates passenger charter service as well as customized military and commercial air cargo carriages worldwide. National Airlines specializes in over-sized, time sensitive, and special handling requirements, utilizing 757-200, 747-400 and A-330 aircraft to accomplish its missions.

Job Title: Records Analyst

Location: Orlando Florida

Department: Quality Control

Reports To: Manager of Quality

FLSA Status: Exempt


Essential Functions:

  • Implement procedures and processes to ensure accuracy and consistency of aircraft recordkeeping.
  • Keeping technical records current, and up to date for compliance of FAR 121.380.
  • Maintaining current, orderly files of all log sheets and other required forms and reports.
  • Auditing aircraft maintenance work packages.
  • Processing Monthly reports on aircraft times, engine LLP status, APU status, lease documents, etc. and their distribution.
  • Updating the National Airlines electronic records database (WinAir) with completed maintenance events.
  • Updating hours and cycles for each aircraft and its components.
  • Printing and auditing necessary WinAir reports monthly.
  • Review of assigned aircraft log sheets, work cards, check sheets, maintenance-deferred repairs for completion and legibility; collate and file; entering data collected into the computer tracking system.
  • Maintaining file of serviceable parts tags for all time-controlled components.
  • Maintaining accurate, timely information on components due for time or aircraft inspection requirements; auditing data entered into time-controlled parts system.
  • Reviewing completed component removal/installation reports, check sheets, work cards, tags and forms for accuracy, completion and legibility.
  • Detailed research of all aircraft records including airworthiness directives, airframe and powerplant time-controlled items for inducting new aircraft into the company fleet.
  • Performing research supports compliance requirements.
  • Performing filing activities (filing, archiving, audits).
  • Performing audits of computer system verification against aircraft maintenance work packages.
  • Other such duties as assigned by the Director of Quality Control and/or the Manager of Quality.

Supervisory Responsibility: No


Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years’ record keeping experience preferred.
  • Analytical skills and good judgment / decision making.
  • Ability to multi-task, and work under pressure.
  • Works well with others, in a group or team environment.
  • Basic math and writing skills.
  • Exhibit the highest ethical standards of conduct in the workplace.
  • Extreme attention to detail.
  • Ability to work alone with limited supervision.
  • Ability to work in a high-impact environment.
  • The ability to prioritize assigned work tasks.
  • Through knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of products, adept at learning new software and programs (WinAir).
  • Aviation background required.
