Edgebrook Animal Hospital Client Service Representative

Edgebrook Animal Hospital located in East Brunswick, NJ is looking for a part-time “Client Service Specialist” who enjoys being part of a supportive and dedicated team that focuses on quality patient care and excellent client service.

We are focused on finding a part time “Client Service Specialist” to join our team of professionals and will consider a part time as well! You will have the advantage of working with a collaborative team while maintaining a work and quality of life balance.

As the face of Edgebrook Animal Hospital, the Client Service Specialist sets the tone for our practice as we build and maintain each customer's trust and confidence in our abilities.

The Client Service Specialist is the pivot around which the hospital operates and is responsible for:

  • Enjoys working with people and animals and it shows
  • Presenting and explaining fees, including processing payments.
  • Excellent multi-tasking
  • Recommending, selecting, and obtaining products and services, including prescriptions.
  • Liaison between the client and doctor
  • Remains positive, professional and respectful
  • Answering questions regarding products and services, including educating clients on non-medical pet care (i.e., heartworm prevention, housebreaking, and flea & tick control).
  • Placing outbound calls for follow-ups and reaching out to prospective clients.
  • Can remain calm under pressure
  • Hospital maintenance (including removal of animal waste) and ensuring that facility is neat and clean at all times—both inside and outside.
  • Scheduling and confirming appointments.
  • Customer service functions, including: greeting visitors, answering telephones, and guiding clients and their pets to exam rooms.
  • Forward thinker, creative, and proactive
  • Excellent follow through
  • Managing medical records, charts, reports and correspondence.
