Position Summary
- Work in accordance with inspection sheets.
- Inspect purchased and processed items received through visual inspection, dimensional inspection and documentation review methods to verify acceptable work performed per directed instructions.
- Learn and develop hands-on proficiency with inspection processes utilized by the company.
- Prepare inspection reports and document non-conformances.
- Participate in the operation of and compliance with all safety, hazardous material handling and disposal requirements in accordance with government regulations and company procedures.
- Participate in root cause corrective action investigations.
- Maintain a clean work environment in full compliance with all internal, customer and government regulations.
- Follow written and verbal instructions, engineering drawings or sketches.

Experience and Education
- Knowledge of arithmetic involving decimals and fractions and its application to use sketches and measuring instruments.
- 3 years of experience in aerospace inspection.
- Ability to work from sketches and use measuring instruments such as, micrometers, calipers, height stands, indicators, shadow graph and CMM.
- Subject to complete vision exam per requirements of National Aerospace Standards (NAS) 410.
Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Compensation
