What We're Looking For
Educational Excellence: A bachelor's degree or higher is required for this position. We seek individuals with sharp reasoning skills, demonstrated through a sample SAT (Reading / Writing section) where a score of 700+ is necessary to be eligible for tutoring at the high school level.
Language and Literacy Expertise: Strong abilities in critical reading and writing, including a solid understanding of grammar principles, are essential. Your knack for teaching young minds to excel in verbal skills will be highly valued. A background in English/American literature and literary interpretation is a definite plus.
Passion for Teaching: Above all, we look for a genuine passion for teaching and working with young people. Previous teaching or tutoring experience will be considered an advantage, but what truly matters is your enthusiasm and commitment to making a positive impact on students' lives.
