Catapult Learning is searching for a licensed and experienced K-5 Title I Interventionist for part-time work. We have openings at private schools in Arlington, VA and Alexandria, VA. Intervention is in a small-group, pull-out, format. Prefer teacher with teaching experience in math and reading

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Create a positive classroom environment that engages students in learning
• Other duties may be assigned
• Develop and maintain student forms and electronic files
• Develop targeted data based lesson plans using intervention curriculum
• Implement the program based on federal Title I guidelines, company policies and procedures, and contract requirements
• Maintain regular communication with school administrators and classroom teachers
• Ensure supervision of students at all times
• Provide periodic communication with parents/ guardians regarding student academic growth
• Diagnose academic needs and deliver small group reading/ math instruction

QUALIFICATIONS:

Active Virginia Teaching License with elementary school endorsement

Teaching Experience Preferred

PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT:

Light lifting, walking, climbing stairs

Non-public school setting (K-8)
