R&D Operations Intern

Our core device (FDA Class 2 cleared) uses machine-learning trained on cell classification to allow chronic patients to monitor their white blood count at home. Our core software product is a platform to help doctors monitor vitals, trends, etc. of such patients, so that physicians and patients can stay aligned without direct interaction.
We also have a fast growing SaaS Revenue Cycle Management business that provides revenue intelligence for hundreds of healthcare businesses, from small clinics to large health systems. Our state-of-the-art dashboard Athelas Insights provides unparalleled understanding into the financial health of your practice to help you with all aspects of RCM including denials, working A/R, research, and more.

Internship Duration: 2 months
Location: On-site in Mountain View, CA
Compensation: $17/hr - $20/hr
What You'll Do

• Lead operations for small, end-to-end clinical trials and experiments
• Coordinate and participate in trial design for our diagnostics team. You'll be preparing blood samples, collecting, and analyzing data
• Follow all safety regulations as stated and maintain well-organized documentation
• Research and present information relevant to solving real r&d problems
• Work directly with other engineers and lab technicians on the team as well as situations with minimal supervision.
• Write intro and method for every experiment conducted

What You Have

• Experience working in a (wet) lab setting
• Familiar with fundamental system design and computer science concepts
• Familiar with research, sourcing information, and experiment design
• Background in science or engineering
• Familiar with chemistry and fundamental chemistry/biology concepts
