• Public cloud providers Usage and Administration: Google Cloud, Azure, AWS;

• Software components: Bert-e (branches merging) + EVE (pipeline for continuous integration); Artifacts (for automated hosting and delivery of Scality’s products: RING and ARTESCA). Knowledge of the following is required to work on those:
• Linux (Debian, Ubuntu, Centos, Rocky or RedHat based)
• Scality’s products release process (Preview, Release Candidate, General Availability, and Hotfix), with associated tools: Jira, Bert-E, Eve, Artifacts, GitHub, GitHub Actions;
• Utilities: caches, front-ends, proxies, and monitoring tools;
• Private cloud based on OpenStack (0 hypervisors and 2000VMs);
• Provide documentation of all the above along with live support
• This position requires up to 10% domestic and international travel, as reasonably requested to other Scality offices. Position may telecommute or work remotely from anywhere in the United States.

• Providing deployment automation with CI/CD of infrastructure and services using Scality’s internal tools (Bert-e, Eve, Artifacts) along with industry best practices (Infrastructure as code and GitOps with tools like Terraform, Ansible, Salt);
• Creating automated workspaces and testing environments to work on RING and ARTESCA for Scality’s engineers, using clusters of virtual machines, containers and more,
• All releases, services and infrastructure are subject to be externally visible such as: customer documentation, product deliverables, and ticketing.

Job Requirements:

• Requirements: Three (3) years of software development experience, which includes three (3) years in each of the following: software development in a Continuous Integration (CI) / Continuous Delivery (CD) environment; CI/CD pipeline for continuous integration; and Linux (Debian, Ubuntu, Centos or RedHat based), Nginx, Git, and Ansible. Experience must also include two (2) years in each of the following: release automation software; release processes (Preview, Release Candidate, General Availability, and Hotfix); automated hosting and delivery; developing and maintaining caches, front-ends, proxies and monitoring tools; creating automated workspaces and testing environments, using clusters of virtual machines, containers and more (with private cloud based on OpenStack and Public clouds: Google cloud, Azure, AWS and automation); and Python, Kubernetes, Docker, and Terraform. This position requires up to 10% domestic and international travel, as reasonably requested to other Scality offices. Position may telecommute or work remotely from anywhere in the United States.
