Job Description
The Humane Society of Missouri's Longmeadow Rescue Ranch in Union, MO is hiring a Part-Time Ranch Assistant . Come help us take care of rescued horses and other farm animals! Duties include: Giving food and water Turning out horses into pastures Cleaning stalls and living quarters Interacting with visitors and volunteers in a positive and courteous manner Operating tractors or other equipment with various attachments in a safe and responsible manner Providing all animals with proper care and attention including adherence to established feeding, sanitation and medical procedures Qualified candidates must be 18 or older, have at least 1 year of previous horse handling experience , and a flexible schedule that will include weekend hours . The number of hours per week is open to your availability. Starting pay is $15.50/hour.
