Quality Manager

SUMMARY:

General responsibilities include supervision of processes and responsibilities in the areas of

Inventory Control, Safety and Housekeeping.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manages and leads assigned Inventory Control, Safety & Housekeeping teams, including performance reviews, staff training & development, and counseling.
• Leads Inventory Control processes to include management of Cycle Count Program, Inventory exceptions, and Distribution Center Master SKU Data.
• Works within the SalonCentric & L’Oreal Network to leverage best practices
• Management of disposal processes with emphasis on HAZMAT & DOT Compliance.
• Management of Customer Quality/SQD, Inbound & Outbound audits, ADI process and Quality KPI’s.
• Performs other duties and tasks as needed upon request.
• Leads Continuous Improvement projects
• Performs Distribution Center Training on Inbound and Outbound processes.
• Provides WMS/SAP information to the Distribution Center Team

POSITION REQUIREMENTS :

• Strong computer, analytical, and communication skills. Prior SAP experience preferred.
• Must be flexible, organized, detail oriented, and a change agent with the ability to multi-task.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred with minimum 5-7 years of people and warehouse leadership experience.
• Must maintain current certification in DOT Transportation and RCRA Hazardous Materials courses.
• Hands-on management experience in a fast paced, high volume distribution environment.
• Broad knowledge of OSHA and safety regulations, inventory control principles, and understanding of warehouse operations required.
• Must be able to wear protective eyewear, footwear, hand protection (gloves) and safety vests
