Job Description
We are looking to fill a full time, Day shift, 4 day work week, Maintenance Tech position with a manufacturer located in the area of Clanton, Alabama. This is a 4 day, 10 hour per day work week. 4am to 2:30pm Monday -Thursday. If you have 2 years of manufacturing maintenance experience (not apartments, lawn care or retail) send your resume for consideration.


Salary Range: $22 to $25 per hour DOE. There is no relocation assistance. Must be able to commute or relocate at your own expense.


Requirements:


  • Mechanical experience with machine shop equipment including lathes, mills, saws, hoists.
  • Basic math skills and the ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings.
  • General plant/facilities maintenance experience
  • Ability to recognize safety hazards and work within safety guidelines.
  • Working knowledge of forklifts and hand trucks
  • Electrical experience with basic wiring
  • At least two years of Maintenance experience
  • Must be capable of lifting and moving heavy objects and work in tight spaces.
  • Basic computer skills, previous experience with computerized maintenance work order system a plus.
  • Problem solving and mechanical diagnostic skills.
