Job Description
:
The Foxboro Cocasset Plant is looking for a passionate individual about quality improvements and customer satisfaction. This position will be responsible for the quality excellence and continuous improvement of assigned manufacturing lines.

What will you do?
  • Coordinate and/or participate in the development and updating of the PFMEA's and control plans
  • Uses quality tools to implement improvements including process flowcharting, Pareto analysis, correlation and regression analysis, significance tests, design of experiments, statistical process control, gauge repeatability and reproducibility, and trend analysis techniques.
  • Plan, conduct and monitor testing and inspection of raw materials received and analysis of defects.
  • Performing failure analysis and writing corrective action reports for product returns using 8D Methodology
  • Make audits and analyze results as specified by quality systems and methods.
  • Supporting production floor with daily quality issues.
  • Works with cross-functional teams to solve production and quality problems.
  • Plan and take any necessary actions to provide adequate confidence/evidence that a product or service will satisfy given contractual/explicit customer requirements.
  • Identify, lead & implement improvement projects in the areas of safety, quality and productivity using lean manufacturing techniques, SPS, Six Sigma and automation.
  • Solve quality manufacturing issues affecting customers quickly and effectively through containment, correction and prevention steps.
  • Supports measuring and analyzing key metrics to monitor performance.
  • Coordinate the implementation of Smart Factory tools such as Automatic Data Collection, Digital Score Cards, Vision Systems, etc.
  • Participate/ coordinate internal & external audits (ISO, SPS)
What qualifications will make you successful?
  • Ability to lead and interact with others in a collaborative environment
  • Strong organizational skills including but not limited to the ability to handle multiple demands and assignments in parallel, the ability to prioritize tasks effectively and efficiently
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing tools, 5S, 8D, Kaizen events, Six Sigma tools, PFMEA, Control Plans, Process Flow, Process Auditing, Process Capability analysis, ISO, Poka Yoke design desired
  • Application of Lean and Six Sigma techniques, statistical methods
  • Strong Quality, Industrial and/or Manufacturing Engineering background
  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical and/or Manufacturing Engineering or related field
  • Must have strong written and verbal communication skills
