Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for a motivated task–orientated individual to join our quality team as a quality control technician. In this position, you will conduct quality checks including inspecting and sampling products under food and drug administration (FDA) and Australia’s Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) code of Good manufacturing Practice (GMP) for medicinal products. Our ideal candidate is very diligent with details, likes to learn—and implement—new processes and practices, and can handle and resolve issues logically.

What You Will Do as USANA’s Quality Control Technician

• Operate Near Infrared Spectrophotometer (NIR) to identify raw materials as required per assigned function
• Create quality control documentation including but not limited to inspection worksheets, Certificates of Analysis, Certificates of Compliance, and reports
• Sample, test, and report findings related to environmental monitoring
• Conduct quality control tasks including inspecting and sampling raw materials, in-process batches, finished products, general merchandise, product returns, documentation, and components
• Document quality control tasks including inspection worksheets and other reports

• Basic math skills
• Ability to understand technical training to perform essential functions of the position
• High school degree or equivalent
