This position is accountable for supervising Quality Assurance Department to ensure quality standards are met and production batches are evaluated efficiently.


What you will do:

  • Supervise & coordinate quality assurance staff.
  • Train new & existing quality assurance personnel.
  • Trouble shoot & resolves Quality Assurance dept. problems & quality related production problems.
  • Compile & analyze data.
  • Revise formulas based on QA data i.e. off mill spec, cycle time.
  • Input revisions into Formula II.
  • Control rework material both out of spec product, end run material & return goods.
  • Coordinate ISO certification.
  • Write, help write, edit etc. procedure for facility procedure manual, and coordinate corrective action.
  • Participation towards completion of other related tasks and duties as directed or needed

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country for which you are applying for employment without now or in the future needing sponsorship for employment visa status
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or four years equivalent experience
  • At least 2 years experience in Quality Assurance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience
  • Experience in a manufacturing or operations environment
  • Experience in a multi-shift operation

3rd Shift Supervisor

Potential retention bonus of $500 after 90 days and $1000 after 6 months. This retention bonus is for external hires only.
