Quality Control Lab Assistant

We are currently looking to add a Quality Control Laboratory Assistant to our team in St. Cloud, MN. In this role you will be responsible for assisting Quality Control (QC) department with daily, weekly, and monthly tasks while also assisting other departments. Additional duties performed as outlined below.

What can I expect in this role?

In this position, you will work 7am – 4:30 pm Monday thru Thursday, and 7am - Noon on Friday.

Some Key Duties In This Role Include

• Documentation of receipt and routing of testing samples from various production departments.
• Preparation of labware to be autoclaved
• Taking inventory and ordering of supplies
• Verification of pipettes
• Receiving reagents, media and other lab item
• Dilutions, plating, and counting samples
• Setting up QC organisms
• Performing testing on prepared and purchased media via
• Wash labware when necessary
• Daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance of the laboratory equipment
• Environmental Monitoring and water testing
• Responsible for labware
• Growth Promotion Testing
• Recording temperatures as required
• Residue checking of washed labware
• Cleaning and maintaining lab equipment, i.e. staining station, pH meter, VITEK
• Prepare reagents
• Clerical work involving filing and data entry review
• Conduct special projects as needed
• Sterility testing
