The Quality Control Associate works in conjunction with site staff to ensure clean, accurate, and quality-reviewed data.



Essential Functions:
  • Performs all activities and procedures in strict compliance to the study protocol, Good Clinical Practice standards, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s), QA/QC procedures, OSHA guidelines and other state and local regulations as applicable
  • Maintains controlled site operations records
  • Provides administrative and operational support
  • Completes queries in a timely manner and works with internal and external parties


Qualifications:



Education:



  • A High School Diploma or G.E.D.is required.
  • A Medical Assistant degree is preferred.


Certification/Licensure:
  • CCRC preferred


Experience:
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific education and experience listed above.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills and a strong attention to detail
  • One to three (1-3) years of experience in a clinical research, clinical, or medical environment
  • Possesses a professional sensitivity to confidential material and information
  • Able to work independently in a team environment and handle multiple competing priorities
  • Knowledge of quality control procedures
  • Able to effectively prioritize and manage workloads to meet extremely tight deadlines
  • Exceptional customer service skills, professionalism and the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external partie
  • Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
  • Incumbents in this class are subject to extended periods of sitting, standing, walking, stooping, bending, and lifting materials and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds.
