Quality Control Associate Jobs

Description:

Purpose: To inspect and prepare finished goods to ensure items meet quality standards and are ready for shipping.

Scope: The Quality Control Associate works in collaboration with team members to collect finished product from the stitching area, apply finishing assemblies, inspect items for quality, and prepare items to move to active inventory.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in inventory count periodically.
• Apply finishing assemblies such as handles, hardware, and straps according to design specifications.
• Collect and sort finished goods from the stitching area.
• Maintain a safe, clean, compliant and organized manufacturing environment, while ensuring compliance with all safety requirements
• Assist in stocking raw materials and housekeeping.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Perform tasks as assigned from time to time by any manager.
• Accurately track and record daily production output.
• Inspect finished goods for damage or defects, trimming and cleaning manufacturing artifacts to ensure a professional finish.
• Meet output goals, cycle times, work in process and quality standards to achieve on time delivery, quality and overall shipment goals.
• Apply appropriate tags and labels as necessary.

Job Qualifications

Must Requirements (including any physical requirements):

• Solid interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods, and to move throughout the warehouse and perform all functions as set forth above.
• Strong ability to communicate and articulate processes and instructions both orally and in writing.
• Be a team player and jump in to support any needs in the company when called upon.
• Ability to work at a fast pace with high accuracy and minimal supervision.
• Ability to work collaboratively as a team and independently.
• Availability to work a minimum of 40 hours a week.
• Deadline driven and goal oriented; comfortable working in an environment with production targets.
• Strong attention to detail including continuously checking for completeness of requirements and components.
