Job Description
Summary: Performs Quality Department activities of Audits, Inspections, Data Collection, Calibrations with document creation and management

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Send out for approval, file approved e-mails
  • Mark up, make changes to documents
  • Perform Oracle material adjustments
  • Interprets and trains QA and EHS philosophy to site personnel.
  • Find any required PO #’s
  • Prepare new documents for release/revised documents for release
  • Maintain ISO QMS & EHS Documentation system
    • Prepare new documents for release/revised documents for release
    • Release documents into locations
    • Mark up, make changes to documents
    • Send out for approval, file approved e-mails
  • Performs documentation reviews for compliance with stated requirements, including vendor quality manuals and company quality records.
  • Reclassify any parts that don’t match the supplier part # so that material can be adjusted out properly
  • Screen RTV parts and scrap out at THI expense dispositions
  • Communicate with Vendors
  • Release documents into locations
  • Create BOLs for required material
  • Coordinate RTV process from NCR process.
    • Create RTV
    • Find any required PO #’s
    • Reclassify any parts that don’t match the supplier part # so that material can be adjusted out properly
    • Screen RTV parts and scrap out at THI expense dispositions
    • Communicate with Vendors
    • Perform Oracle material adjustments
    • Create BOLs for required material
  • Fork Lift trained and move material between inventory locations as required
  • Engages in technical and administrative work in QA activities such as calibration and part inspection.
  • Auditor for QMS and EHS site processes.
  • Create RTV
  • Assist production operators with document, process interpretation and inspections
  • Quality Metric Reporting and Updates as required for DMM and Posting within THI

Education/Training/Experience:
  • Ability and desire to use all inspection and computer equipment supporting described job responsibilities
  • High School diploma/GED with zero to one year related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to read write routine reports and correspondence and interpret rules, operating instructions and procedure manuals
Skills
  • Ability to interpret engineering requirements produced and used in the normal course of hydraulic cylinder manufacturing
  • Internal database and software programs. (Oracle)
  • MS/Word; Excel to be used in conjunction with other
  • Demonstrate Math proficiency as it relates to this job.
