What does a successful Quality Assurance Tester do at Fiserv?

  • You'll join our Pay by Bank/TeleCheck engineering group within Fiserv’s Global Business Solutions (Payment Acceptance) business.
  • You will be contributing at both an individual level as well as a team level to achieve the organization's objectives and goals around Software Quality Assurance.
  • As a QA Tester, you will ensure quality of the products, technical solutions and services developed for both internal and external customers of Pay by Bank/TeleCheck payment processing services.

What you will do:

  • Monitor UAT Defect tracking
  • Validate that user expectations are achieved during the testing process
  • Perform testing on various software and reporting systems
  • Develop test plans, test cases, test scripts, and test reports on multiple projects of varying size
  • Review user requirements documents to ensure that requirements are testable


What you will need to have:

  • 5+ years of experience with complex application business and technical requirements, test planning, test design, test execution, and defect tracking/management
  • 2+ years of experience with regression review and analysis
  • 5+ years of experience in distributed testing and performance activities
  • 1+ year of experience leading meetings with teams and stakeholders
  • 5+ years of experience in SDLC process, Agile and Waterfall methodologies, writing test plans, test scripts, regressions, etc.
  • 5+ years of experience in functional, manual testing on Unix/Linux systems and experience in with Unix shell scripting.

What would be great to have:

  • Banking and financial industry experience - specifically with cards, payments, and check processing
  • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision and manage conflicting priorities
  • Experience writing SQL queries, Oracle experience preferred
  • Experience with modern API Testing using tools such as Postman and SOAP UI
  • Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium and TOSCA
