Job Description

Job Title

Quality Assurance Engineer

The Quality Assurance Engineer is responsible for ensuring compliance with internal procedures within the Quality Management System.
This position works with relevant teams and departments to ensure final products (deliverables, shipments, etc.) conform to internal requirements and meet customer expectations, as applicable. Responsibilities of a Quality Assurance Engineer may include but are not limited to document and deliverable reviews, supporting auditing activities, supporting QA logistics activities, etc.

Your role:

  • Ensure products adhere to company and industry quality standards
  • Performing final product delivery review on external facing customer deliverables, as required
  • Support Return Material Authorization (RMA) process
  • Supporting Supplier Management activities, as required
  • Supporting the Deviation, Letter-to-File and Audit processes
  • Collaborating with relevant teams and departments to develop, implement, and improve quality controls
  • Support investigation and troubleshooting of production issues.
  • Support QA logistics activities to ensure quality specifications are met
  • Support Process Validations activities as needed
  • Working with and assisting the Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs members, as requested
  • Document results and findings after audits are carried out
  • Support the Correction Action Preventive Action (CAPA) process, as required



You're the right fit if:

  • Demonstrated knowledge of Good Clinical Practices, GXPs, as well as global regulations, Experience in clinical trials, medical device, and/or pharmaceutical industry preferred, Experience in Logistics and/or Supply Chain Management preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Life Science or equivalent combination of an Assoicates degree and 2+years of experience required
  • 5 + years’ experience in Quality or Regulatory environment preferred

Philips Transparency Details

The pay range for this position is $55,282.50 to $102,600.00, annually. The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple factors including, job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.

In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered.
