Job Description

General Purpose:

The purpose of the Testing Associate is to conduct both manual and automated inspections and tests of all tools, pumps, and gauges to the company’s standards.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Report any quality issues to their supervisor, examine and preform all test and inspections to HYTORC specification.
  • Apply labels onto products.
  • Test and visually inspect Links, Gauges, Tools and Pumps in accordance with procedures.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with others.
  • Initiate the Non-Conformance identification process using ‘Red Tags’ and moves to Q-Stage.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Review all documentation and instructions per HYTORC work instructions.
  • Work daily with other Testing , Calibration, Shipping, Receiving, Rental Demo Dept, Quality Assurance and all warehouse associates.
  • Create CRM’s for nonconforming material as assigned.


Supervisory Responsibilities: None


Education/Experience Required: 2 years of warehouse or quality experience.


Computer Skills Necessary: Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office. Ability to enter inspection results in company ERP system.


Physical Demands/Requirements:

  • Strenuous physical work in testing area.
  • Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds with assistance.
