Qc Sequencing Analyst I (Monday - Friday 8:00Am-5:00Pm)

This position is part of the Quality Control Department located in Fargo, ND and will be onsite. You will be a part of the Quality Control team and report to the QC Sequencing Manager.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Collaborate on associated Quality Events, OOS investigations, and CAPAs including: Determine Root Cause through Root Cause Analysis, Develop and Execute Hypothesis Testing, and Perform Impact Assessments
• Perform assay documentation in accordance with GDP standards
• Act as primary analyst for routine and non-routine sequencing projects, including reaction preparation, analysis, and reporting
• Perform advanced assays requiring precise analytical skills and understanding of biological and chemical principles
• Support readiness of the sequencing lab through equipment maintenance, buffer preparation, materials planning and requests
• Identify quality concerns and escalate when appropriate

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Experience with Sanger sequencing and/or Next Generation sequencing preferred
• Experience in a molecular biology laboratory preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Biology or related field required
