Cabinet Maker Ii (Monday To Friday 7:30Am To 4:00Pm)

Essential Functions:

• Finishing: adjusts cabinets to ensure smooth installation. Checks with supervisor for adjustments or repairs as needed upon completion.
• Repairs: works with management and other team members to identify cabinetry needing repairs and works with them to repair the cabinetry.
• Maintains an organized and stocked tool locker. Requests for and/or replenishes materials and supplies as necessary.
• Maintains machinery according to shop protocol on daily maintenance tasks.
• Machinery: operates shop tools, hand tools, and machinery such as table saws, router tables, panel saws, chop saws, edge-bander, and planer using proficient knowledge of tools and machines.
• Materials: identifies appropriate materials for each task based on knowledge of wood and plastic products.
• Cabinetry: builds standard commercial cabinetry.
• Maintains a safe work environment by adhering to all safety protocols, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and wearing protective equipment as required.
• Performs moderate millwork tasks, including but not limited to:
• Construction plans: reads construction and shop drawings of basic to moderate complexity to develop cut lists while ensuring the best material yield.
• Tracks assigned millwork projects/tasks and communicates progress to supervisor. Ensures completion of assignments in a timely manner while adhering to operational standards.
• Performs other related duties and projects as business needs require at the direction of management.
• Cleans and organizes shop daily according to shop cleanliness protocol.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
