This unique program gives you an entry point to a career in jewelry by guiding you in taking steps towards becoming a James Allen Certified Quality Control Inspector and helping you maintain the highest level of skills required in the diamond industry.

This is a unique opportunity to get into the world of jewelry with little to no experience. We are looking for people who are excited and eager to learn. Quality Control Inspectors will work closely with our team of experienced Gemologists learning the ins and outs of diamonds and diamond and jewelry inspection.
The courses, tasks, and resources provided to you in our Quality Control Training Program were created to give you foundational knowledge, skills, and on-the-job experiences you need to become a James Allen Certified Quality Control Inspector.

The year-long apprenticeship will be broken up into 3 parts:
I. Classroom training
II. Shadowing a GIA trained gemologist
III. Practical Exam
IV. On the job learning
