Job Description


We have an exceptional opportunity for a Quality Assurance Professional to join our medical team. As a member of our medical team, you will be at the forefront of delivering high-quality healthcare services to children and their families.


Responsibilities:


  • Quality improvement experience and knowledge of QI processes such as PDSA, FMEA, and root cause analysis.
  • Assisting with the development, review, and analysis of all elements of the QI program.
  • Ability to prepare and implement quality assurance policies and procedures, perform routine inspections, identify, and resolve non-compliant issues, and foster an approach to continuously improving quality.
  • Establishing quality improvement.
  • Setting strategic priorities for quality assessment and improvement.


Requirements


  • Recommend current certification in one or more of the following: Certified Quality Specialist such as Health Care Quality & Management (HCQM) or Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) or equivalent.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Master of Science in Nursing, Master of Science in Nursing Healthcare Quality and Safety, Master of Healthcare Administration is preferred.
  • If a Registered Nurse is selected, must hold a current, valid, unrestricted nursing license in one of the U.S. states, territories, commonwealths, or the District of Columbia.
  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an approved, accredited school of nursing.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Healthcare Management, or a related field or


Experience:


  • Must be comfortable working with young children and adolescents’ medical, behavioral, and social needs. 
  • Minimum of three (3)+ years of current experience in healthcare quality assurance with demonstrated working knowledge of relevant regulatory standards with the ability to prepare and implement quality assurance policies and procedures, perform routine inspections, identify, and resolve non-compliant issues, and foster an approach to continuously improving quality.
